EDI-2019-10-MIGROS IoT in Retail
Our products are based on our unique sensor band, similar to an LED strip that discretely analyzes motion in a room. The strip is attached a few inches above the floor to the wall, approximately at the level of or integrated into baseboards. Intelligent software analyzes the interruptions of infrared connections by persons or objects in the room, so that it recognizes and classifies movement patterns. In nursing homes, a nurse can then, for example after a fall, quickly rush to the rescue to prevent serious consequences or the night light can be switched on after leaving the bed to guide people on their way to the bathroom. By analyzing the behavior of residents over a certain period of time, diseases can be detected early on and care can be better tailored to each individual resident.
