Product Description

DAIAD is an integrated demand management system for water. It applies Big Data and Machine Learning technologies on smart water meter data, engaging consumers to induce sustainable changes in consumption behavior, and providing large-scale analytics to improve demand management for water utilities. DAIAD tackles the requirements of demand management and consumer engagement in an integrated manner. It provides personalized interventions to consumers adapted to their profile, individual determinant sensitivity, and consumption behavior. Water utilities have access to scalable analysis services enabling them to forecast and anticipated water demand, understand consumption behavior and actively influence it.

Company description

Our team comprises research, engineers and business experts focused on applying Big Data and ML technologies for Water Demand Management for more than five years. We bring together expertise and software solutions validated in the context of the DAIAD FP7 research project, which delivered the first integrated open source water demand management system. Following the end of the project, the founders have formed an incubating entity supported by the Athena Research Center, continuing to advance the DAIAD system with new state-of-the-art analysis services for water utilities. A startup company which will focus on the commercial uptake of the DAIAD system is planned for the end of 2019.
